Ernest Praag (1967)
Partner, buying and sales, general management.
First car:
Old timers have always been my hobby. My first car (1985)
was a 1957 Opel Olympia P1, green with a white roof.
Everyone thought I was crazy driving around in such an old
car. I had a lot of fun with it but the fact that they are
known as cars that have trouble keeping a straight line is
something I can confirm and have experience with......
Education / Work Experience:
After completion of my HEAO degree course, I first started a
mail order company with a partner, built it up and sold it.
After that I started E & R Classic Cars with Ron Donders.
Dream car:
1953 Lagonda 3 litre Drophead Coupe.

Ron Donders (1968)
Partner and Garage Foreman.
First car:
I grew up with old timers. My first old timer was a 1969
Alfa Giuilia 1300 TI. I also went on holiday to Scotland
with that car. Good car, that.
Education / Work Experience:
As first mechanic, I initially got a lot of work experience
in the freight truck industry, and after that with Italian
and English sports cars. Since the founding of E & R Classic Cars
I now only work on old timers. A dream has come
true. In the meantime I have come to know a lot of old
timers inside and out.
Dream car:
1970 Porsche 911S.

Maartje Grijsbach (year of
birth classified top secret)
Administration and Logistics.
First car:
Was a red 1985 Citroen 2 CV. The little car handled really
well. It was just on the highway that passing other cars was
not possible. The worst was losing the entire roof and car
boot door while driving home, because of the wind. There I
was, standing in a ditch trying to fish half of my car out
of it!
Education / Work Experience:
After my MEAO degree course I had a number of different
jobs, one of which was executive secretary for the Municipal
Health Service. Now I really enjoy working at E & R Classic Cars
and I take care of administration and organise everything
with regards to transportation and official documents.
Dream car:
"Guys, what's the name of the car that I thought was really
beautiful?" (Maartje asks in the garage)
Oh yes, the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette, but then the two-tone
model: baby blue and white. Although, I think a red and
white Austin Healey 3000 MKIII is also really beautiful.

Rob Broekmans (1967)
Photography and Sales.
First car:
My first car in my student days was a 1977 Volkswagen Golf
in Canary Yellow. Not necessarily an old timer, but it was a
cheap car for students. When the rust holes got to be too
big and too many I got rid of it.
Education / Work Experience:
After my MAVO education and studies in Middle Management I
spent 20 years in a managerial position in the non-food
industry. After that, I took on the challenge at E & R Classic Cars
to strengthen the commercial team. It's a nice job
in a fun company where the people and customers come first.
My main tasks are taking photos of the cars, advertising
them, and assisting the customers. I have a pot of coffee
ready for you.
Dream car:
Austin Healey 3000 MKIII Phase 2 BJ8.
